Meet our Staff…

Brian Dengler

Lead Pastor

brian@woodstockarc.com

Pastor Brian is the lead pastor of Woodstock Community Church located in beautiful Southwest Minnesota. He is passionate about bringing people into a life-long, passionate, relationship with Jesus and helping rural churches thrive in their mission.

Brian completed his undergraduate degree at Dordt University and received his graduate degree from Sioux Falls Seminary.  Brian is married to Melody, a pastor and counselor. Together they have two teenage daughters. Their family loves spending time together at their farm. They all love animals, gardening, and anything to do with being outdoors.

When I’m not working, I like to Spend time with my family, work out at the farm, garden, drive my John Deere tractor, fix fence, cut trees.

The grossest thing I’ve ever eaten is elementary school lunch of goulash – yuck.

What I order at a restaurant, my go-to order is always the club (or steak medium rare).

One fun fact that not many people know about me (until now) is I really don’t mind red tractors.

Melody Dengler

Director of Worship and Pastoral Counseling

melody@woodstockarc.com

Melody has always had a love for music and has been a part-time worship leader for over 20 years. She is passionate in leading people to the feet of Jesus through song and the arts. God has created us with many senses, and she loves to tap into them to experience God's presence more fully. She also does pastoral counseling and desires to see people get the healing they need to walk into the fullness of their calling.

Melody and Brian have two amazing girls. She homeschools them and loves the flexibility and learning opportunities it provides.

In her free time, she loves to worship, play games, garden, sew, cook, and bake.

The grossest thing I’ve ever eaten is alligator.

What I order at a restaurant, I love to try new things-so I don't have a go-to.

Fun Fact- I can wiggle my ears- and can do one at a time.

Whitney Reynolds

Youth and Children’s Director

whitney@woodstockarc.com

My role at the Woodstock Community Church is Youth and Children’s Director. I was born and raised in Pipestone, Minnesota and graduated from Pipestone Area in 2016. I attended the University of Sioux Falls for four years and after changing my major six times in the first semester, God directed my path to double majoring in psychology and theology! Still holding on to a high school dream, God then led me to pursue my Master's in Theology and Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary based in California. In the process of pursuing this degree, I interned as a Youth Director and fell in love with spending time with and sharing the Gospel to teens. It is a great passion of mine to see students claim their faith and live it out in their daily lives despite what their peers may think. After what seems like perpetual studying, I am happy to say that I will be completing my degree and graduating in December 2022! YAHOO!

My husband, Mason and I have been married since July 2019 and just recently bought our first home in Pipestone. Just prior to this, we lived in Southern California where Mason was stationed as an active-duty Marine. While we were there, we also adopted our now seven-year-old English Bulldog, Petunia! In November 2022, we adopted another playful pup, Poppy, an Olde English Bulldog Mix, to join our family! Outside of working and doing homework for Seminary, some of the things I enjoy include traveling, thrift shopping, making candles, and wood burning!

We are so excited to be a part of this church family and it is such a joy to be able to serve you with the goal of glorifying Christ through it all! Please feel free to stop in and say hi or contact me via phone or email with any questions/insights you may have!

When I’m not working, I like to spend time with friends and family by playing board games and eating a homemade dessert!

The grossest thing I’ve ever eaten is escargot (snails) but more like escargross.

What I order at a restaurant, my go-to order is always what I ordered last time! I'm very consistent when it comes to food.

One fun fact that not many people know about me (until now) is that I have been to ten different countries!

Kim Kruisselbrink

Church Administrator

kim@woodstockarc.com

Being a part of the team here at Woodstock Community Church has been an absolute joy.  My passion to work in church came at an early age, as my grandfather was a minister so I grew up (living with my grandparents of and on) seeing and being a part of the inside workings of the church and ministry.  I came to know Christ as my personal Savior as a 2nd grader at summer camp and God has been my rock ever since.  Growing up in a military family where everything and everyone was new on a consistent basis; I learned at an early age that my only constant is God.  That has carried me throughout the years.

Now my days outside of church are filled with supporting my husband with the farm, our kids, and grandkids, who fill our days and our hearts with joy.  My prayer is to live my faith out boldly so that it would be an example for our next generations.

When I’m not working, I like to put together puzzles.

The grossest thing I’ve ever eaten is alligator.

What I order at a restaurant, my go-to order is always cheeseburger/chicken strips.

One fun fact that not many people know about me (until now) is I can wiggle my nose.

Raeann Erickson

Administrative Assistant

raeann@woodstockarc.com

I grew up in West Central Minnesota, near Madison on a dairy farm. Growing up in a Christian home I had many opportunities to be involved in various ministries. Although, after my nephew Daniel was diagnosed with Down Syndrome my heart soon grew for ministering to families affected by the world of special needs. I spent seven years volunteering/working with Joni & Friends. God called me away from disability ministry and into the role of Administrative Assistant at the Woodstock Community Church. Now I spend my days managing our church bulletin, website, creating graphics, and various other projects.

I met my husband Craig back in 2011; however, it took him several more years of persistently pursuing me for us both to fall madly in love. We got married in 2016 and were blessed with our daughter Hope in December 2021. My days outside of church are spent caring for my daughter Hope and managing our household.

When I’m not working, I like to spend time with my family, drink coffee, and go for walks.

The grossest thing I’ve ever eaten is pigs bladder…long story short, I was told it was JELL-O. It looked like JELL-O, it certainly did not taste like Jell-O.

What I order at a restaurant, my go-to order is always some type of burger with fries.

One fun fact that not many people know about me (until now) is I took 13 years of piano lessons while growing up.
