We Can’t Wait to Meet You!
Looking for a church family can be daunting task. Our prayer is that you feel very at home here. We are a group of imperfect people who don’t have it all together, but we are seeking after the ONE who does, and His name is JESUS. So please relax. There are no expectations. Our prayer is that you encounter God’s presence through your seeking process.
Sunday Worship Experience
What Can I Expect When I Come?
What should I wear? There’s no dress code at Woodstock Community Church. Whether you’re in jeans, business casual, or dressed up, you’ll fit right in. Come as you are!
Order of Service: We desire the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us at each service. We do have an order of service; however, we fully expect the Holy Spirit to come and change our plans.
Praise and Worship: We are a three-generational church that expresses our worship to God in song through hymns, choruses, and contemporary worship. Just as God has created us each uniquely, our expression of worship is also varied and unique. During our times of worship, you may see many various expressions such as raised hands, clapping, dancing, laughter, crying, quiet reflection, journaling, drawing, sitting, walking around, prayer, and more.
Sermon: The message is centered around God’s Word and how we are to apply it in our daily walk with Him. The heart behind each message is that you are encouraged, equipped, and challenged to live life and life to the fullest just as God has designed.
Prayer: It is through prayer that lives are changed, and mountains are moved. Our prayer team is available in front of the sanctuary at the end of each worship service. You are welcome to come forward if you would like someone to pray with you. There are also prayer cards in each row if you’d like to put your request in writing. You can place those cards in the offering bag or leave it on your seat at the end of each service, or bring them to the Welcome Center after service.
Tithes & Offerings: We believe that giving is part of our act of worship. We also believe that giving is between you and the Lord. Instead of passing a plate at each service, there is a blue box in the fellowship hall where people can drop off their tithes and offerings. For you, our guest, the best gift today is your presence.
Coffee & Refreshments: Coffee and refreshments are a big part of community life at WCC! Coffee is available before each service at both main entrances—help yourself and bring it right into the service. Afterward, stick around for coffee, treats, and connection.
After each service is a time of coffee and refreshments. Please stay and enjoy!
